You really can’t get any closer to the university: the Katholische Hochschulgemeinde (KHG) residence at Edith-Stein Haus is immediately opposite the main university in the 1st district. This means you are not only a short distance from lectures and the library, but you are also in the heart of the student quarter with many lovely little places and leisure options. The beautiful Wilhelminian-style building offers rooms in various categories for a total of 100 residents.
The Katholische Hochschulgemeinde offers a special service at this location for residents interested in the faith! You can find more information on the website of the KHG. The KHG Chaplains may require an interview with applicants. Therefore Akademikerhilfe will forward your name, email and telephone to KHG.
Rooms & Prices
The single and twin rooms in residential units for 2 to 3 people are fully furnished, light and have modern decor. The anteroom and shower/WC are shared by the residents in the units. Newly equipped communal kitchens are available to the whole building for cooking. A lovely special feature: some rooms have a cosy sleeping gallery, where the bed is located. Internet access is naturally provided.
Location
The location is perfect: the main university is right next door, the underground is just two minutes away, St. Stephen's Cathedral in the heart of Vienna can be reached easily on foot in 10 minutes.

Cooking, learning or relaxing in front of the TV with friends. Shared activities are an important part of life in a student residence. There is plenty of space for this in the newly equipped communal kitchens as well as in different rooms:
