The traditional student residence of Innsbrucker Immobilien GmbH & Co KG (IIG KG for short), which is managed by Akademikerhilfe, is located in a quiet residential area of Innsbruck with a wonderful view of the city and mountains.
There are 35 places available in this house. The house in Frau-Hitt-Straße is a cozy place to live. It is not far to the university and the city center: just a short walk, approx. 15 minutes on foot.
The 'transverse building' at Frau-Hitt-Straße 14 has been extensively renovated over the last twelve months. From mid-September 2024, 15 fully furnished single rooms will be available on the top floors. These units are equipped with a kitchenette and a private bathroom (shower, WC). The view from the room units is outstanding - the city of Innsbruck, the Nordkette mountain range and the Bergisel ski jump feel “close enough to touch”.
Rooms & Prices
In this dormitory there are mainly single rooms with individual flair and shower/WC available. There is also a twin room with shower/WC and bright as well as spacious single rooms on the lower first floor. The shower facilities for these single rooms are also located on the first floor and are shared by the residents.
All rooms are functionally and friendly furnished, internet connection (WLAN) is available. Cooking facilities are available in the well-equipped communal kitchen.
Location
The residence is located in a quiet residential area. The next bus station is about 100 m away, the best and fastest way to reach the University is to walk or go by bike.

Leisure Activities
You will easily get to know your fellow residents. Meeting points are the communal kitchen or one of the common rooms. Most of the residents appreciate the spacious garden and make good use of it.
Innsbruck is well-known for its leisure facilities, the mountains are close and easy to reach.
