Right in the middle of the action - the Ignatiushaus at Domgasse 3 is the ideal place for students to live in the heart of Linz. Spread over three floors, this student residence not only offers plenty of space to live, but also an inspiring environment for concentrated study. The residential units have the character of shared flats and have been successively renovated since 2017.
The last rooms are currently being refurbished so that ten contemporary single rooms in line with current living trends will be available from January 2024.

The student residence consists of 10 single rooms located on the second, third and fourth floors of the building. Ignatiushaus is owned by the Jesuits and has been managed by Akademikerhilfe since 2019. All rooms are furnished and equipped with everything needed for comfortable living and efficient studying. Each room unit has its own modern bathroom.
On the second floor, residents have their own communal kitchen for communal use, while on the third and fourth floors a large communal kitchen and a cozy living room are shared. The furnishings in the single rooms are bright and modern, including a comfortable bed, desk, armchair and a spacious bathroom with washbasin, shower and WC.
Internet access is available to residents in the accommodation units. A small laundry room is located on the second floor, while residents on the third and fourth floors share a large laundry room. Both laundry rooms are equipped with washing machines and dryers. An elevator is available throughout the building.
Location
The Ignatiushaus is conveniently located close to numerous educational institutions and public transportation (streetcar, bus). The University of Art and Design Linz is within walking distance, and the University of Applied Sciences for Health Professions and the Anton Bruckner Private University are easily accessible by public transport. The streetcar takes 20 minutes to the JKU. Banks, supermarkets and stores for daily needs can be found on Linz's main square and the surrounding area.

Leisure Activities
The Ignatiushaus is located just a few steps away from Linz's main square and offers an ideal environment for young people. Stores and eateries along the main square and in the side streets invite you to take a leisurely stroll.
On the floors, residents can organize communal cooking sessions in the communal kitchens or study for exams in the large living room.
The Ignatiushaus's own garden with its flowery pavilion is an oasis of peace and invites you to relax, especially in the warm summer months. The public bicycle racks in front of the house are available to residents.
