The studios are about 18 m², they are fully furnished with desk, bed and wardrobe (even a TV set is available) and equipped with a small bath and kitchenette. Some of them are facing the green courtyard. Internet access is provided.
Washing machines and dryers are located in the first floor. This laundry room is not operated by Akademikerhilfe.
Location
The student residence is located in a nice residential area in Vienna's 15th district. Metro stops are just 50 metres away, line U4 will take you to the city centre, most of the Unis and to Schönbrunn, with the line U6 you may reach the Western Railstation and Mariahilfer Straße, Vienna's longest and liveliest shopping street.

Leisure Activities
You will find supermarkets, banks and other shops in the vicinity of Martinushaus. A hidden gem is "Meidlinger Markt", a mixture of traditional fruit, vegetable and meat stands and unusual stalls with vegan or gluten-free products. Many special restaurants with unconventional concepts recently opened up in the area.
Joggers will enjoy running with a view in Schönbrunn, in summer combined with a visit to Schönbrunn Pool, a perfect place to refresh oneself after all the learning efforts.
