Campus feeling in the Student Village
If you like a lie-in, take note: you’ll never be late to university again as the Student Village lies right next to the canteen and Alpen-Adria-Universität at the western edge of Klagenfurt.
The complex consists of 24 small building units, each with 8 or 12 one-bedroom apartments, surrounded by spacious green areas and with two lovely ‘village squares’. Thanks to the proximity to the Wörthersee and many cafés and restaurants, there are also plenty of ways to spend your free time in your well-earned breaks from learning!
Rooms & Prices
After an all-round renovation of the one-bedroom apartments, the Student Village has been offering space for 170 students since October 2022. The one-bedroom apartments are lovingly designed and fully furnished, have their own bathroom and their own small kitchenette. The apartments are also equipped with internet and TV connections.
The complex also features a laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryers, which is available to all the residents for a small charge.
Location
It doesn’t get better than this: the Klagenfurt Student Village is located right next to the university and canteen building. The beach pool at the Wörthersee or the Europapark are just around a 10-minute walk away. The city centre can be reached in around 10 minutes with bus routes 10, 11 and 12, the stops are around two minutes on foot from the Student Village. The many cafés, restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity of the Student Village invite you to enjoy spending time with friends.

Leisure Activities
The focal point of the Student Village is the spacious communal room. The residents can organise communal movie nights here thanks to the screen and projector, hold celebrations at the in-house bar, or simply sit together in the cosy seating areas. The residence also has extensive green areas that can be used for sports activities or brief breaks outdoors.
There is sufficient safe parking for bicycles. Anyone with their own car can rent a parking space in the residence’s own car park.
